1. Favorite stuffy and new toys to keep kids entertained.
2. Air tags. These may come in handy when tracking your luggage/backpacks/most important items.
3. Puffy stickers. Bring couple sheets so the kids can put them on the back of the front seat and rearrange them as many times as they want!
4. Favorite snacks. You really don't want hungry kids if they don't like the plane food or you are in the middle of a big delay while seating in the plane.
5. Light blanket from home. There is something about kids having their own blankets when traveling that makes them feel home.
6. Kids earplugs if your kids struggle with the air pressure during flights.
7. Keep their medicines handy. Don't check them as luggage can get lost or you may need them while on the flight. Especially if your kids or you have a condition such as asthma, diabetes, food allergies, etc.
8. Water bottle. You can bring it empty and go to a water fountain to fill it after you are done with security at the airport. Everyone will need to stay hydrated!
9. Bring a change of clothes or two in your carry on. You never know when your kids may need to change their clothes after a drink or food spill or an accident. Also, if your luggage is lost or delayed, at least you have a change of clothes for your kids.
10. And yes, of course, bring a tablet. Make sure you load it with lots of educational and fun games, movies, books, etc., before taking your flight or hitting the road.
